xtranormal.com?

Recently I went on this website xtranormal.com, it’s a website where you can create your own mini-movie using voices and animation. I think this would be a great learning tool to use in the class room. I think if one of my teachers used this in their classroom, I would pay a lot more attention. This website can make your classroom, fun and educational at the same time. I garantee that your teacher and your students will never have a boring moment in the classroom.

Posted in Uncategorized on January 11, 2010 by ashleyemmSophomore year has been filled with many experiences, tears, laughs, and friendships. It was filled with great memories. This year has been great, regardless of all the mistakes I made, but hey, “It’s never a mistake, only a lesson learned”. I grew up and matured in so little time, but you have to if you’re going to survive high school. The whole concept of high school is terrifying, especially when you go to an all girls Catholic high school, no offense, but we’re a tad bit crazy, maybe that’s why I love this school and I fit in perfectly. This year taught me so much, from learning how to use audacity to living through planning your quinceanera.
A great lesson I learned, occured in my very own english class. I learned organization is key. The bad part about gaining that knowledge is that I had to learn it the hard way. I’ll admit, I did slip a little, okay, a lot, in that class due to my terrible organization skills, but I can safely say, I’m a little bit cleaner due to this class. It also helped that Mrs. Gerlach scares me and I don’t want to turn in my homework late, only for her to think ” Hmmm, she can fail my class, she’ll learn”.
Two words, Mrs. Callinan. She taught me that no matter how hard I try, I can’t be good at everything. For example, I can study and study, but I won’t get anything higher then a C+. Sometimes life isn’t fair, and this class made me accept that fact. I won’t give up, but it’s just the way it is. Don’t worry, my boat still floats with a C+.
Okay, so I know Mr. Marshall didn’t want me to write about computers class, but I’m a rebel, directions can’t contain my creativity. Comupters class is my favorite class, it’s taught me to be myself a bit more. You have to put your self out there on this little nightmare of a blog. Some might bs these “posts” but I like writing about things I care about and expressing my opinion. Kudos to you Mr. Marshall, you gave me a heck of a sophomore year!
Basically, sophomore year was nothing like I expected: it was better. These moments that we live through now, are the moments that we are going to remember for the rest of our lifes. Why waste it worrying about stupid things that don’t matter? I know this is cheesy, but I live by it, listen to it, and follow it 100%. So live it up, or you’ll regret it. I’m so happy I found this out early along in my “early days”, some aren’t so lucky.
ps. I love all my teachers!!! in this assignment I had to lie a little to make it interesting; Don’t worry, my choices don’t haunt me(:
